The Grammy Awards, the music industry’s biggest annual awards ceremony, has once again announced its nominees for 2021, the 64th in a row. The Grammys will take place on 31st of January in Los Angeles.
This year’s nominees in the metal category are alternative metal band Deftones with “Genesis“, French metal giants Gojira with “Amazonia“, progressive metal band Mastodon with “Pushing The Tides”, horror rockers Rob Zombie with “The Triumph Of King Freak (A Crypt Of Preservation And Superstition)” and progressive metal giants Dream Theater with “Alien“.
The rock album nominees are Australian legends AC/DC with their new album “Power Up”, the late Chris Cornell with his posthumous album “No One Sings Like You Anymore Vol. 1”, Foo Fighters with their new album “Medicine At Midnight”, The Beatles legend Paul McCartney with his album “McCartney III” and psychedelic soul band Black Pumas with their album “Capitol Cuts – Live From Studio A”.
In the rock category, Foo Fighters‘ “Waiting On A War”, Mammoth WVH’s “Distance”, Weezer’s “All My Favorite Songs”, Kings Of Leon’s “The Bandit” and Paul McCartney’s “Find My Way”.
