Author Benedetta Baldin - 28.4.2025

Anette Olzon, one of the most striking voices in the recent history of symphonic metal, has just announced that Brazil will be the stage for the premiere of her new solo tour – a special tribute to the albums “Dark Passion Play” (2007) and “Imaginaerum” (2011), the two records she made with Nightwish. This will be the first time that Anette will perform live, as a solo artist, iconic songs from this phase that made her famous worldwide.

Released in 2007, “Dark Passion Play” marked a moment of reinvention for Nightwish, achieving huge critical and public success. With singles such as “Amaranth” and “Bye Bye Beautiful”, the album sold more than two million copies worldwide, securing platinum and gold certifications in several countries. Acclaimed for its grandiose sound and emotion, “Dark Passion Play” consolidated the band’s new line-up and paved the way for global success.

In 2011, “Imaginaerum” raised the bar even higher for Nightwish, bringing an ambitious conceptual proposal that resulted not only in an acclaimed album – considered by many to be a masterpiece – but also in a movie inspired by the songs. With tracks such as “Storytime” and “Last Ride of the Day”, the work received a lot of praise from specialized critics and was awarded worldwide as one of the greatest albums in the history of symphonic metal.

More than a decade after she left the band in 2012, Anette Olzon is celebrating this important phase in her career by reliving the songs that moved millions of fans around the world. The concerts promise to be unforgettable evenings for fans of symphonic metal and Anette Olzon‘s unique voice.
