Rock guitarist Ace Frehley has announced his new solo album, “10,000 Volts“, set to be released on February 23 via MNRK Heavy. The musician also shared an official music video for the title track, which can be seen below. The song also marks Frehley’s first original music in five years.
The album was produced by Frehley and Trixter’s Steve Brown, whose pop-metal sensibilities shine through on the title track.
In a recent interview, Frehley said that his latest solo album would make his former KISS bandmate Paul Stanley “look like an imbecile“, adding further fuel to their tempestuous relationship and all but confirming that Ace won’t be appearing on stage during KISS’ final concerts.
