Metal giants Disturbed have not released a new album for a while. However, fans of the band can now rejoice, as frontman David Draiman says in a recent interview with Rock 95.5 radio that the band is finally starting work on a new music.

“I’m very, very much looking forward to this next run because in between the Hard Rock dates and our festival [Welcome To Rockville] that we’re playing in Daytona Beach, we plan to kind of start writing again”, Draiman says and continues:

“I’m looking forward to it. I’ve been dying — as I’ve been saying in the press on numerous occasions — I’ve been dying to write more new Disturbed material. And I think now everybody is finally in the headspace to do it. And I can’t wait.”

Disturbed’s previous album “Evolution” was released in 2018.

The band’s upcoming performance at the Welcome To Rockville festival will also be streamed.
