On August 07th, former Bad Wolves vocalist Tommy Vext provided an update on the present status of the three-time platinum-certified alternative metal band, albeit in a very informal manner. Since guitarist/vocalist Doc Coyle and bassist/vocalist Kyle Konkiel announced their departure from the band in May, there have been rumors about its current state. The second member of the platinum-certified alternative metal band to leave the band was apparently vocalist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz, who joined Falling In Reverse as a bassist and vocalist. In the midst of all this lineup chaos, returning guitarist Chris Cain was revealed as Bad Wolves‘ replacement for Coyle, while bassist Kevin Creekman—who has played with Payton Perish, Tommy Vext, and others—was brought in to take Konkiel’s position. Vext has had a tense relationship with Bad Wolves since his own breakup with the band in 2021, which included a highly public verbal altercation. A settlement was made after a series of litigation, but the band claimed that Vext had violated a non-disparagement agreement in the settlement, which led to further legal action in 2024.
Wasn’t fortunate to see Bad Wolves when you were with them :/ are y’all on good terms after everything or not really? Fan on instagram to Vext
Me and John had dinner in March and hugged it out. Been really close with Chris for the last 3 years and we are writing new music together. Personally I want nothing to do with Kyle & Doc doesn’t want to make amends dispute my attempts. Presently everyone has quit the band including DL and John is reforming with Al knew members again for the third time.
