Zakk Wylde hasn’t learned Pantera’s songs yet

The so-called Pantera reunion has been announced earlier this year. Featuring Anthrax‘s drummer Charlie Benante, Wylde himself on guitar and original Pantera members, Philip Anselmo on vocals and Rex Brown on bass, this reunion has metal fans divided in their opinions.

Wylde has reiterated that he is “honored” to take part in the upcoming Pantera tour. But… he hasn’t learned the songs yet.

In a recent interview with The SDR Show, Wylde said:

“I don’t know the songs. If Dime had to play the ‘No More Tears‘ solo and ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home‘ and ‘Miracle Man‘ and ‘Perry Mason‘ and play ‘Suicide Messiah‘, it’d be, like, ‘You must know Zakk’s stuff.’ He’d go, like, ‘No. I don’t know any of his stuff. Zakk’s my buddy, but no, I don’t know any of his stuff.'”
