Wolfbrigade releases “Doomrunner” single from new album

Swedish crust punk veterans Wolfbrigade release “Doomrunner”, a new single from their upcoming album “Howl From Underground”. The album arrives on October 9 via Metal Blade Records. “Doomrunner” follows the first single “Cold War Bootlicker”, which the band shared earlier this month with a music video.

The new record follows 2024’s “Life Knife Death”. In addition, it is the band’s twelfth full-length. That count includes three early albums they made as Wolfpack between 1996 and 1999. For the last decade, the band recorded, produced and mixed its own albums. On “Howl From Underground”, however, they teamed up with producer Lawrence Mackrory at Necromorbus Studio. According to the band, they wanted an outside producer who understood what Wolfbrigade is about.

Meanwhile, drummer Dadde Stark is back behind the kit. He first played with the band from 2002 to 2015 and returned in 2024. Alongside him, the lineup features vocalist Micke Dahl, guitarists Erik Norberg and Jocke Rydbjer, and bassist Johan Erkenvåg.
