When pop goes metal – Archspire cover “APT.” by Bruno Mars and Rosé

Author Benedetta Baldin - 13.6.2026

Archspire, a tech death metal band, travelled to Musora to take part in their “On The Spot” series, as per theprp. In this series, bands are given a single day in the studio to cover a song in whatever way they see suitable. “APT,,” a 5x platinum 2024 K-pop smash originally performed by Rosé and Bruno Mars, was the song they decided to recreate. You can hear Archspire‘s final rendition of the song and see them go through their version below. This past April, Archspire released their totally crowdfunded new album, “Too Fast To Die,” and they will be touring with it all year long.
