“When I first heard Helloween, that’s when I really wanted to be a singer” – Avantasia’s Tobias Sammet shares his story as a metal vocalist 

The power metal genre has many iconic singers and Tobias Sammet is definitely one of those voices. For more than 30 years the german musician has been releasing records and touring the world, whether with Edguy or his most ambitious project, Avantasia, which just released a new album called “Here Be Dragons” on February 28th.
