”We wanted to have full focus on instruments we have with us on stage” – interview with Viktor Gullichsen of Brymir

Author David Araneda - 29.8.2022

Juggernauts of melodic death metal Brymir unleashed their fourth studio album “Voices In The Sky” via Napalm Records on August 26th. The band proves their remarkable ability to combine immense, clear, earworm choruses with furious growls and heavy breakdowns. Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, this is with no doubt the next band to keep on the radar in modern melodic death metal. Styled in the vein of Ensiferum, Wintersun and Children Of Bodom, they serve a more modernized answer to the melodic death metal equation.

The band held an official pre-listening party for their new album at On The Rocks in Helsinki, Finland on August 25th and Chaoszine sat down with the band’s vocalist Viktor Gullichsen to discuss about the brand new album as well as what lies ahead for the band in the future.
