For their planned home release of their live coupling with a full orchestra at the esteemed Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia on June 09, 2025, Parkway Drive put on a spectacular advertising campaign. As theprp reports, in preparation for their upcoming live film, “Home: Live At The Sydney Opera House,” the metalcore group performed an elaborate black tie concert at that location on that particular day. There is a teaser website for that release available at parkwaydriverock.com. Winston McCall celebrated this week by rappelling down from a helicopter with the Parkway Drive logo onto the top of the Sydney Opera House, giving him a head start on the promotion for it. Below are pictures and video from that stunt. The band has stated that “Home” will be released in 2026 as both an album and a live concert video, though a specific release date has not yet been set. If you’ve been to one of their shows of late, it’s difficult to know exactly where to look when the stage is entirely engulfed in flames and walls of fire are exploding everywhere. In the background, drummer Ben Gordon is gently spinning in his signature drum cage, while Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall is seen dangling high up on a suspended platform from which even more pyro is blasting out. There’s even more pyro on the cage itself. So, lots of fun!
