Video available of Deftones performing “Cherry Waves” with a very special guest

When Deftones performed on September 7th at the Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City, QC, Sarah Barthel of Phantogram joined them onstage, as reported from theprp. On the first leg of the Deftones‘ summer/fall headline tour in the United States, Phantogram provided direct support. Barthel made an appearance with the song “Cherry Waves” from “Saturday Night Wrist.” Despite not being a single from that 2006 album, the song has now gained popularity due to the Deftones‘ TikTok comeback and went platinum in July of this year. Below is fan-shot footage of this live duet. Phantogram‘s run came to an end last night, and IDLES, a British post-punk band, will provide direct support for the second leg of the run. The Barbarians of California will continue to serve as the opening act.
