British hard rock icons Uriah Heep have released the official music video for the single “Golden Light“. The song is taken from the group’s 25th studio album, “Chaos & Colour”, which was released on January 27 through Silver Lining Music. You can watch the clip below.
Guitarist Mick Box states: “We’ve always had positive energy in everything we do. It’s always good over evil no matter where we look at it. That’s what we’re like as people, which is why it’s always been a big part of Heep to have that positivity.“
“Golden Light’ is a typical melodic Heep rock song,” adds Box. “It explains that in this troubled world, there is a guardian angel shining down a light, to guide us through these difficult times. ‘Appy days!”
The new album was recorded by the band at Chapel Studios in London during the summer of 2021 as restrictions were tentatively lifted, working once again with producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Corey Taylor, Black Star Riders). The LP was engineered by Pieter Rietkerk.
