East Yorkshire heavyweights Mastiff have dropped their new single “Decimated Graves” from their upcoming EP “For All the Dead Dreams,” which arrives on October 24 via Church Road Records. Known for their uncompromising blend of sludge, grind, and hardcore, the band has spent over a decade cementing themselves as one of the country’s most relentless forces in extreme music.
The new track surges with chaotic blasts and punishing riffs before collapsing into a suffocating wall of doom, a sound Mastiff describe as both furious and unflinchingly tied to the grim realities of the modern world. It follows the EP’s lead single “A Story Behind Every Light,” which tackled themes of grief and recovery.
Recorded by Joe Clayton (Pijn, Ba’al) at Nø Studio and mastered by Brad Boatright (Hellripper, Bossk, Mantar) at Audiosiege, “For All the Dead Dreams” delivers five tracks in just 15 minutes, pushing the band’s intensity to new extremes.
The release follows their acclaimed album “Deprecipice” and continues the band’s streak after high-profile appearances at festivals like Bloodstock and Damnation, tours with acts such as Avatar and Conan, and recognition from their song “Acid Breather” being featured in Cyberpunk 2077 game and its Netflix spin-off.
