Udo Dirkschneider, one of the legends of German heavy metal, has released a new album entitled “Touchdown” with his solo band ,U.D.O., on August 25 via Atomic Fire Records. U.D.O.’s latest album was produced by Martin “Mattes” Pfeiffer at Redhead Studios and mastered by Stefan Kaufmann at Roxx Studios. The LP is the band’s first material with former Accept bassist Peter Baltes, who recently joined the group.

Dirkschneider has given an interview to the That Metal Interview podcast in which he gives his opinion on the possible return of Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne to the live stage. According to Udo, Ozzy’s shows will most likely be played out and you won’t see him on stage again. This is what Udo said:

”In my opinion, I’d say no. I don’t think that he will come back. I mean, in some interview, he said, ’I’ll come out with a chair on stage.’ I mean, come on. I think this is over. For me, personally — that’s my personal opinion. I don’t know that he will be back on stage.”
