Four adorable cats that got stuck deep inside a massive diesel generator were rescued by Trivium members Alex Bent and Paolo Gregoletto together with other band members. Fans referred to the video of the rescue as “wholesome” and “metal AF” after Trivium posted it on their Instagram page. The episode, in which a crew member climbed inside the generator for five minutes before coming out with the terrified kittens one by one and giving them to firefighters who were waiting, has prompted others to demand new Trivium X Kitties merchandise. Glenn, a member of the crew, even received a firefighter’s helmet and posed for pictures with the Cobb County Fire Department personnel in Georgia. This week, the bands played at Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre. “Paolo, Alex, and Glenn out here saving kittens lives!!!!” said Matt Heafy, frontman of Trivium.
