Tons of Rock raises the bar yet again — defining how big, bold and international a lineup from Norway’s biggest festival can be. Today, the festival unveils a massive artist announcement featuring global phenomenon Yungblud, punk rock legends The Offspring, the uncompromising A Perfect Circle, guitar virtuoso Tom Morello, and Japan’s trailblazing Babymetal.

A global sensation on Norwegian soil

He’s a global phenomenon — a symbol of freedom, community, and rebellion. British artist Yungblud (Dominic Harrison) has skyrocketed from underground sensation to the voice of a generation.

With his explosive blend of punk, pop, hip-hop and electronica, he’s created a unique universe — boundless, raw and deeply human. Millions of fans follow him worldwide, and his U.S. tour sold out within seconds. Bringing Yungblud to Norway is nothing short of historic — only a handful of European festivals will feature him in 2026.

“Getting Yungblud to Tons of Rock is beyond incredible. He’ll play only a few European festivals next year, and we’re proud to be one of them. Alongside names like The Offspring, A Perfect Circle, Tom Morello and Babymetal, this lineup shows the international position Tons of Rock has achieved. 2026 will be a historic year for the festival and for Norwegian rock”,says Jarle Kvåle, General Manager of Tons of Rock.

Punk rock’s eternal energy bomb

They gave us the sound of the ‘90s rebellion with hits like “Self Esteem”“Come Out and Play” and “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)”The Offspring cemented their place in rock history as one of the most influential punk bands of all time.

A Perfect Circle – pushing the boundaries of rock

Led by Maynard James Keenan (Tool) and Billy Howerdel, A Perfect Circle has, since their 1999 debut, challenged and expanded what rock music can be. With albums like “Mer de Noms”, “Thirteenth Step” and “Eat the Elephant”, they’ve created soundscapes that merge the brutally dark with the beautifully fragile.

Guitar revolution at Ekeberg!

Few guitarists have reshaped rock the way Tom Morello has. Through his work with Rage Against the MachineAudioslave, and most recently as the musical director for the Ozzy Osbourne tribute concert, he has redefined what a riff can be — and what music can mean. His unique playing style has made him a living legend.

Babymetal – pure power from Japan

Japanese phenomenon Babymetal has taken the world by storm with their singular mix of metal, pop and extreme visual power. They’ve headlined Wembley, topped Billboard charts, and in 2026 they’ll take the stage at Tons of Rock for the very first time — promising a show that will shock, seduce and thrill all at once.

A stellar lineup of rock and metal

These five giants will be joined by a host of legendary and uncompromising artists, creating a world-class lineup. From Danish rock veterans D-A-D and Brazilian thrash pioneers Cavalera to The Pretty Reckless, Black Label Society, Apocalyptica, Death To All, Audrey Horne, Elder, Gatecreeper and Gaerea.

Tons of Rock 2026 spans the entire rock spectrum — from melodic hard rock to the most extreme metal.
