Tommy Lee performed with broken ribs on opening night of Mötley Crüe’s Stadium Tour

Mötley Crüe‘s Stadium Tour alongside Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts kicked off on June 16, in Atlanta, GA. The great doubt for Crüe‘s performance was, of course, Vince Neil’s voice. But it was Tommy Lee that had to abandon the stage after performing five songs, due to several broken ribs. The drummer was on stage against doctor’s orders.

Lee played “Wild Side”, “Shout at the Devil”, “Too Fast for Love”, “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)” and “Saints of Los Angeles”, after which he was quickly replaced by Tommy Clufetos.
