Rain Hannah Andreani, the longtime partner of Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil, was arrested in Williamson County, Tennessee, on November 1 following a reported domestic dispute. Multiple outlets, including TMZ and the Los Angeles Times, report that Andreani was booked on a domestic-related assault charge.
According to TMZ’s account of an arrest affidavit, police were called after an argument between the couple allegedly turned physical. The report alleges that Andreani threw objects and scratched Neil. It also states that Andreani told officers Neil had struck her in the face; officers reportedly did not observe a visible injury corroborating that allegation. These are allegations described in police reporting, not findings of guilt.
Andreani was released the following day after posting a $5,000 bond. A court appearance is scheduled for December 3, according to reports citing arrest records.
The band has the following shows booked:
Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal ensemble established in Hollywood, California, in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee. Guitarist Mick Mars and lead vocalist Vince Neil subsequently joined the group.
The band has commercially surpassed 100 million records sold globally. They have attained seven certifications of platinum or multi-platinum status and produced nine albums that reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, including 1989’s “Dr. Feelgood”, their only studio album to attain the number one position.
Mötley Crüe has also achieved twenty-two Top 40 hits within the mainstream rock genre and six singles that reached the Top 20 in pop music. The members are frequently recognized for their hedonistic lifestyles and their flamboyant, sometimes androgynous aesthetic.
Initially rooted in hard rock and heavy metal with their first two albums, “Too Fast for Love” (1981) and “Shout at the Devil” (1983), the release of their third album, “Theatre of Pain” (1985), marked the band’s incorporation into the glam metal movement.
