Threatin‘s leader, Jered Threatin (real name Jered Eames), has made a comeback with new music. Threatin became well-known in 2018 after he went to considerable measures to defraud his way into a tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. He and his wife staged a complex operation, pretending to be a label, publicist, booking agency, manager, a phony rock website, and even purchasing social media likes in order to schedule a tour that ultimately failed since no one showed up. Threatin later lost lawsuits brought by musicians he had falsely recruited for the expedition. Threatin intensified his questionable actions after his plan was completely revealed, presenting himself as a crafty mastermind. However, he didn’t exactly get an audience for his attempt at a meaningful comeback show after making amends and becoming notorious for his activities. Threatin recently published a song called “Die Young,” which he allegedly wrote and recorded weeks before being admitted to the hospital with an unidentified life-threatening illness. The medical care and surgery he claims to have received as a result of the disease are shown in the video/mini-documentary below.
