This Eternal Decay: Music video for “Violate” released, album on the way

The Italian darkwave trio This Eternal Decay has released a new single, entitled “Violate“, along with a music video. You can check out the video below:

The music video was directed by This Eternal Decay frontman Riccardo Sabetti, with visual effects by RVS. It stars Leon Hartmann, Sofia Moreau and Amigdala (The Spider).

After “Kiss Me I’m Dying“, “U-Bahn“, “Me, Myself And I (feat. Darkways)“, “Broken Heart” and “Breathe In Silence“, “Violate” is the sixth single from This Eternal Decay‘s upcoming 6th studio album “AMIGDALA” which will be released on 15 January 2027 via Swiss Dark Nights, with distribution by Audioglobe:

“AMIGDALA is the sixth album by This Eternal Decay, and perhaps the band’s most emotional and introspective work to date. The title perfectly reflects the soul of the record: the amygdala, the part of the brain associated with emotions and memory, becomes a symbol of faded memories, lingering pain, and lost loves that unexpectedly return to the surface. […] The album’s artwork was created by visual artist RVS, who has previously collaborated with This Eternal Decay on several of the band’s videos. The cover is a digital reworking of a photograph featuring Misty, model and muse, whose image becomes part of the album’s visual language: a distorted and dreamlike representation of memory, desire, and the emotional traces left behind by the past.”
