The unmatched chanters of Celtic culture, Swiss folk-metal Eluveitie have been staying true to themselves for more than 20 years, and in their new upcoming album “Ànv” that will come to live on the 25th of April via Nuclear Blast, they dive even deeper in the depths of the heritage of the old Celts and using an ancient manuscript as a foundation for the album, covering the eternal topics of nature and darkness.
Chaoszine chatted with the Eluveitie‘s mastermind Chrigel Glanzmann about what was the basis for the “Ànv” from inspirational and thematic standpoint; about the decisions which songs a going to be sung by Chrigel himself and which – by female voice of Eluveitie Fabienne Erni; about the reason why Celtic culture is not as mainstream as Scandinavian one and other interesting things.
