“The Way It Is”: Shakra release new single, music video on the way

The Swiss hard rock band Shakra has released a new single, entitled “The Way It Is“. You can listen to the song below:

The band has not yet revealed whether the new single will be followed by a new studio album or not. What the quintet has revealed is that there will be a music video for “The Way It Is“, set to be released next Friday (9 September 2022).

Despite all the good news, Shakra also had to announce the cancellation of one of the festivals they were supposed to be performing at, namely the Swiss Rock & Metal Festival:

“Unfortunately, the organiser cancelled the festival without consulting the bands. We are very sorry about this. SHAKRA have not yet committed to any postponement date. Purchased tickets can be returned.”

The organisers of the festival state on their website that the festival has to be postponed to 2023, “due to economic reasons”, and that the new date “with the confirmed line-up” will be announced “as soon as possible”.
