American post-hardcore band The Used have announced that their orchestral concert film, “A Mid Summer Night’s Symphony”, will make its streaming debut on November 13, 2026, through Veeps. The film captures the band’s special performance at the iconic Sydney Opera House in Australia on March 29, 2026, where they were accompanied by the Sydney Metropolitan Orchestra and a choir.
The online premiere is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Pacific / 9:00 p.m. Eastern, giving fans worldwide an opportunity to experience the ambitious concert.
The Sydney concert saw The Used reinterpret songs from their catalogue with full orchestral and choral arrangements, offering a different perspective on the band’s emotionally charged post-hardcore sound. The performance was originally announced as a special black-tie event, marking a significant milestone for the group during its 25-year career.
Rather than presenting a conventional rock concert, the band brought its music into a symphonic setting, combining familiar songs with the expanded sound of a live orchestra and choir. The resulting concert film preserves that performance for fans who were unable to attend the original event.
Before its upcoming streaming release, “A Mid Summer Night’s Symphony” received its world premiere at the Landmark Nuart Theatre in Los Angeles on October 28. The special screening was accompanied by a question-and-answer session with the band, giving attendees an opportunity to hear more about the project.
The November streaming premiere will now make the film accessible to a much wider audience.
