Kyle Gass and Jack Black are a duo that needs no introduction! On the 12th of May, Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham was fully packed with fans of real rock ‘n roll. The audience started screaming and chanting “D” as Kyle and Jack came on stage. It seemed that the band didn’t have to play anything – it was enough for the fans to see Tenacious D in the flesh. The level of musical genius and comedic timing of the band were incredible. They jokingly bickered with their roadies, argued with each other, defeated the devil and defended metal itself. All this and more happened during their show while the band performed their most well-known songs. The charisma, the humour and the power of metal were off the charts during the night. We can’t wait for the D to return to the UK. For now, check out the photos of the one and only Tenacious D showing Nottingham how it’s done!
