The EP, “Now or Never”, was released when they were still called A Dying Dream on Frontline Records. They re-recorded and re-released the EP with an extra track and supplementary live footage after signing with Mediaskare Records a year later. Early versions of their subsequent first album were included in the release. Soon after, they published a full-length studio album titled “Fury and the Fallen Ones” and changed their name to The Ghost Inside. On June 8, 2010, Mediaskare Records published their second album, “Returners”. It was revealed on February 24, 2011, that Andrew Tkaczyk, the drummer and primary lyricist of “For the Fallen Dreams”, has been standing in for KC Stockbridge and The Ghost Inside.

The band signed with Epitaph Records on January 10, 2012. Together with Miss May I, the band headlined the Alternative Press Tour in 2012. Produced by Jeremy McKinnon, the lead singer of A Day to Remember, their debut album for Epitaph Records, “Get What You Give”, was released on June 19, 2012, and debuted at No. 88 on the Billboard 200. In 2013, the band embarked on a global tour to promote the record.
