The Funeral Portrait are firing on all cylinders! Their second album “Greetings From Suffocate City “is released today, Friday, September 13th via Better Noise Music. The up-and-coming emo-rock band will celebrate the release with a special acoustic performance at the Silver Scream Con R.I.P. party (Ice Nine Kills‘ annual horror convention) alongside stand-up comedian/actor Jamie Kennedy. They are also releasing a matching, eerily beautiful music video for the song “Doom and Gloom”.

The current single “Suffocate City (feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)” entered the Top 10 of the US Active Rock Radio Charts at #8 (Billboard) and #9 (Mediabase) just in time for the album release, marking the band’s highest chart position to date. The song has also reached the top 10 of the rock radio charts in Germany and is currently at #9.

The new album is made up of 14 tracks that highlight the band’s unmistakable sound full of theatrical and dramatic flair and features guest appearances from Bert McCracken (The Used), Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills), Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria) and Eva Under Fire. The album was co-produced by Johnny Andrews (Three Days Grace, Motionless In White, Halestorm) and Lø Spirit (aka Josh Landry). “Greetings From Suffocate City “is now available digitally and on CD. The special “Glow in the Dark” vinyl will be released on October 11th. Album bundles with exclusive merch are available at the BNM Label Store.

‘Suffocate City’ is our heaven, but you don’t have to wait until you die to go there. It’s a place where everybody can belong, no matter who you are. We grew up ‘weird’ kids saved by alternative music and culture and are eager to pay that gift forward. Lee Jennings
