The Funeral Portrait release “Hearse For Two” with new guest vocals by Lilith Czar

Emo rock revivalists The Funeral Portrait—Lee Jennings (Vocals), Cody Weissinger (Guitar), Caleb Freihaut (Guitar/Auxiliary), Robert Weston (Bass), and Homer Umbanhowar (Drums)—have unveiled their latest single on February 7, “Hearse For Two (feat. Lilith Czar).” Illuminating the themes of devastating loss and eternal love, the song has been released one week ahead of Valentine’s Day. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, The Funeral Portrait will unveil an exclusive and highly limited release of “Greetings From Suffocate City” on blood-filled vinyl. Dubbed the Bloody Valentine Edition, this rare collector’s item will be available exclusively through the band’s official webstore at www.TheFuneralPortraitMerch.com.

The release will be accompanied by a special merchandise drop, offering The Coffin Crew additional collectibles to complement this unique vinyl. The launch is set for 12:00 AM EST on February 14th, making this a midnight event fans won’t want to miss.
Last November The Funeral Portrait landed the #1 spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Mediabase’s Active Rock radio charts with their hit single “Suffocate City (feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills).” This marks the band’s first-ever #1 radio single and first entry onto any Billboard chart. The single has garnered over 6.5 million streams globally and over 600k views for its prom-themed music video.

“Holy Water” is the band’s latest single that’s blowing up the radio airwaves now, with MetalPlanetMusic.com describing the song as “a full-on arena anthem sound that hits straight between the ears. The beat is hard and uncompromising, with the dual guitar riffs forcing the emotion down your throat. The choral harmony during the bridge gives the track a ‘it’s our song, and we’re going to do what the fuck we want to’ vibe. It’s a real monster of a track.”

Meanwhile, Pandora named The Funeral Portrait as one of their “Artists to Watch 2025: The Pandora Ten,” which spotlights a group of ten emerging artists across all genres that it believes will break through in the coming year. 

In touring news, after a robust tour season in 2024 supporting the likes of Five Finger Death Punch and The Hu, The Funeral Portrait will continue bringing their message to the masses with an aggressive touring plan for 2025.
