The north-Americans of Starbenders played a couple of gigs in Helsinki, opening for Palaye Royale on their Fever Dream Tour. The band from Atlanta brought their mix of glam rock, glitter and punk to legendary Tavastia. The second show took place on Sunday, March 5th, playing songs from their latest record “Love Potions” and the new singles released so far.
Chaoszine was there to do a report, but before the show, we had a chat with Kimi Shelter, Kriss Tokaji, Aaron Lecesne and Emily Moon. The musicians commented on their first ever European tour, the importance of friendship while playing together and details about the new studio album coming out later this year.
“It’s amazing that music can show you the world if you want.”
Aaron Lecesne
“All that matters at the end of the day is that we can get back to one another and we use it to get closer and grow not only our friendship, but our musicianship as well.”Kimi Shelter
