The Crown call it quits after 35 years and launch their “No Tomorrow” farewell tour

Author Teemu Hakala - 1.12.2025

After three and a half decades of shaping Swedish death metal, The Crown are calling it quits. The band confirmed that 2026 will be their final year together. They want to end things on their own terms. The mood around the decision feels clear and deliberate. They also stressed that the choice comes from a desire to celebrate their legacy rather than fade out quietly.

The band thanked fans for more than 35 years of loyalty. They said that the support and chaos from the crowds kept them moving through every era. They also promised to give everything they have left during their last run. Each show in 2026 will act as a tribute to the past and to the people who stood with them since the early nineties.

The Crown will head out for one last worldwide run called No tomorrow Farewell 2026. The tour hits clubs and festivals across Europe and the USA. The band also remain open to a few more bookings next year, so the calendar might expand. The final show lands in Gothenburg on December 19.
