The Browning was initially Jonny McBee’s solo endeavour when it was founded in early 2005. Matt Keck, a rapper, later joined the project. After leaving The Browning in 2010 to pursue a career in comedy, Matt Keck made an appearance on Tosh.0 in the “I’m a Snake” viewer video. With the addition of bassist Jesse Glidewell, guitarist Brian Cravey, and drummer Noah Robertson, the two EPs underwent a style shift. Collin Woroniak took Brian Cravey’s place in late 2011, and their “Bloodlust” music video was published. “Burn This World”, the group’s first studio album, was released by Earache Records in October 2011.
