The Beatles legend Paul McCartney is not much of an autograph person: “Let’s chat, let’s exchange stories”

If you’re a music legend like Paul McCartney, it’s more than likely that people will be asking for your autograph and a photo with you in every possible place.

No wonder McCartney is not big on autographs. In a recent interview with Reader’s Digest, McCartney said that he no longer intends to sign autographs.

 “It always struck me as a bit strange – ‘here, can I write your name down on the back of this till receipt please?’ Why? We both know who I am.”

Selfies are not McCartney’s thing either. He would rather just talk with his fans.

“What you’ve usually got is a ropey photo with a poor backdrop and me looking a bit miserable. Let’s chat, let’s exchange stories.”

McCartney will have the honour of inducting the Foo Fighters into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on 30 October.
