Detroit experimental hardcore outfit The Armed has released a striking new single and official music video for “Sharp Teeth”, the final preview of their upcoming album, “The Future Is Here and Everything Needs to Be Destroyed”, which drops August 1st via Sargent House. The track dives deep into the band’s signature fusion of abrasive noise, melodic hooks, and genre-bending chaos.

The video, co-directed by frontperson Tony Wolski and Aaron Jones, blends unsettling, surreal visuals with cryptic references. Viewers can spot nods to Marina Abramović’s The Artist Is Present, a hovering helicopter, and various hidden easter eggs woven into the background—details that reinforce the band’s reputation for layered and thought-provoking imagery.

This latest single follows previously released tracks “Well Made Play” and “Kingbreaker”, giving fans a final taste of what to expect from the new album. The return of enigmatic figure Dan Greene is also confirmed in the video, adding yet another twist to the band’s ever-evolving lineup and mythos.
