The Amity Affliction’s Ahren Stringer appears to signal a definitive exit

Australian post-hardcore band The Amity Affliction‘s bassist and co-vocalist, Ahren Stringer, has been having a rough time with his bandmates for a few months, but he has never really provided an update on whether or not he is still with the group. With an Instagram image and comment he made on Sunday that seems to confirm that he is no longer a member of the band, it looks like everything has changed. Stringer revealed that he would be creating his yearly tattoo designs for supporters, which will include hand-numbered and signed prints. Fans, however, couldn’t help but notice that Stringer stated in the description that they were the final ones.

The Amity Affliction hasn’t actually said anything about Stringer since they first announced in May that he wouldn’t be joining the band on tour, so as of this writing, this is the closest thing we’ve come to a statement regarding his future with the group.
