The alter ego of the band Poets of the Fall, Old Gods of Asgard, will perform at the Game Awards!

“The Rebirth – Greatest Hits” album of the Old Gods of Asgard will be released on vinyl and CD this Friday. The album features music from the game Alan Wake 2, among other tracks.

Before the release, the band will play a very special performance at the Game Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 7.

“It’s fantastic to perform at the biggest and most prestigious event in the industry! Video games have always been an important part of our lives, so this is a big deal for us in that sense as well,” the band commented.

The single “Herald of Darkness” from the Rebirth – Greatest Hits album has already garnered interest worldwide, and its music video has been viewed nearly two million times.

Additionally, Time magazine just selected Alan Wake 2 as the game of the year.

Alan Wake 2 is nominated in eight categories at the Game Awards. It may receive awards for game of the year, best direction, storytelling, and music, among others.
