There are recent news regarding the American comedy rock duo Tenacious D, formed by actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass.

For background information – About a month ago Kyle Gass made a joke about the failed assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump, answering to the question about making a wish for his birthday, as he was presented with a cake onstage, with the words “Don’t miss Trump next time.”. This was followed by an excuse of Kyle Gass (which was later deleted) and Jack Black (his apology is still up) later on. Tenacious D also put all creative plans on hold and canceled the rest of their tour. Jack Black said he didn’t feel it was “appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour”.

In recent news Jack Black told American entertainment magazine Variety that the duo will be back, as this was, until today, still not clear. Jack Black stated:

“We need to take a break. Everybody needs a break sometime. And we’ll be back.”

Also Kyle Gass commented on the issue talking about staying in contact with Jack Black:

“We need to take a break. Everybody needs a break sometime. And we’ll be back.”

When the American comedy rock duo Tenacious D will be back and how that will look like, remains still unclear.
