Swedish metalcore act Adept drop new single “Ignore the Sun”

Swedish metalcore veterans Adept are back with a brand new single titled “Ignore the Sun”, and it’s already streaming with an official music video. The track follows their earlier releases this year “You” and “Heaven”.

Formed in the early 2000s in Trosa, Adept quickly rose to prominence as one of Europe’s leading metalcore acts. Their explosive live shows and high-energy tours alongside bands like A Day To Remember, Underoath, and Bring Me The Horizon earned them a solid fanbase across the globe.

After a few quiet years, Adept made a triumphant return to the stage in 2024 at Core Fest in Stuttgart — and judging by this latest release, they’re showing no signs of slowing down.

The band is gearing up for a busy touring schedule across Europe.
