The world of guitar effects is full of special devices. One popular speciality, for example, is Korg’s Miku pedal, which turns the notes you play into the voice of a Japanese digital singer, Hatsune Miku. Now a new pedal is on the market that’s sure to make device enthusiasts laugh.
Created by pedal maker Steve Gadlin, The Fart Pedal is exactly what its name sounds like. The device lets you turn notes you play into fart sounds, and you can adjust things like how ‘wet’ or ‘dry’ they are from the pedal itself.
There are also a couple of fake cases available with the pedal, so you can trick your guitarist friends into thinking it’s a distortion pedal, for example. Then when they decide to stomp on it, you can all chuckle at the fart sounds, the pinnacle of humour.
You can contribute to the pedal’s Kickstarter campaign here.
