Stanley Simmons, a joint venture between Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons — the children of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons from KISS — has unveiled the official music video for their first single, “Body Down“, as per Blabbermouth. The video was directed by Kuya Allen and Shey Allen from Downhaus and is available for viewing below.
A year ago Stanley Simmons wasn’t even the beginning of a thought in either of our heads. Now it’s pretty much all of them. We’re incredibly proud of the record we’re making and very stoked to share it with you all. Thank you all for taking the ride with us and thank you Rob, Kim, Joey, Jacob, Ally, Bryce, Pete, Vinnie, Harry, Kyle, Kuya, Shey, Harrison, Mister, Kate, Connor, Elena, Lindsey, and Erich for helping make this song and video come to life 🖤 – the band in November
In 2001, Stanley‘s first spouse, actress Pamela Bowen, initiated divorce proceedings following nine years of matrimony. The couple has one son. On November 19, 2005, Stanley entered into matrimony with his long-term partner, Erin Sutton, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pasadena, California. The couple subsequently had a son in September 2006, a daughter in January 2009, and another daughter in August 2011. Stanley regards his children as Jewish; however, due to Sutton’s Catholic faith, they were raised with both religious traditions, described as “100 percent Jewish and 100 percent Catholic.” Simmons resides in Los Angeles with his spouse, Shannon Tweed, a Canadian actress and former Playboy Playmate. Although their relationship began in 1983, they did not marry until 28 years later. Simmons often humorously referred to their relationship as “happily unmarried” for over two decades. Their marriage took place on October 1, 2011, at the Beverly Hills Hotel. They have two children: Nick, born on January 22, 1989, and Sophie, born on July 7, 1992. Simmons previously engaged in relationships with Cher and Diana Ross, with the latter developing feelings for him during his relationship with Cher. He has publicly claimed to have engaged in sexual relations with thousands of women, asserting that by 2010, the number reached 5,000, each documented with a Polaroid photograph and hotel key. Following their wedding, Tweed discovered the key to lockboxes containing these photographs, confirming the rumors. After a confrontational discussion with Simmons, she publicly burned the Polaroids during the final season of Gene Simmons Family Jewels, on national television.
