Irish-based rockers Brake Loose have recruited Spanish drummer Nando Alonso to join the band. Alonso is a Galicia-born musician who is now part of the outfit.

Brake Loose has recently shared a new single and music video, “Treat Her Like A Rose“, out with digital distribution support from Earache Records. The clip has more than 14,000 views on YouTube so far.

The band’s new rocking single has it all: sharp guitars, tight bass-heavy drums and Alex Murillo’s hypnotic vocals at the forefront. Imagine a cross between Finland’s HIM and England’s The Cult, with riffs halfway between Black Sabbath and Billy Idol‘s “Rebel Yell”.

The Dublin-born rock outfit – comprised of Venezuelan frontman Alex Murillo, Irish guitarist David O’Grady, Chilean bassist Juanjo Pulpeiro, and Spanish drummer Nando Alonso- are four 21st-century romantics obsessed with touring and tearing up every single venue they perform. Led and formed in 2021 by reckless singer and poet Alex Murillo, they’ve established themselves as a notable force on the Irish music scene. “We make RocknRoll for those with rebel souls, Alex says.

Selling out The Workman’s Club thrice in Dublin over the past two years, playing gigs all over Ireland and being featured in Hot Press Magazine as “Hot Irish Acts for 2022” the band embarked on a UK & Ireland 2024 Summer Tour plus performing at Maid Of Stone Festival in Mote Park.
