Philadelphia hardcore band Soul Glo have released a lyric video for their new single “Ppl Worried”, featuring Tunde Adebimpe of TV On The Radio. The track is the latest preview of the band’s upcoming album “NA I’M GON GRAB ALLAT”, due out January 15, 2027, via Epitaph Records.
On the new song, Soul Glo frontman Pierce Jordan delivers the first verse, while Adebimpe takes the second. The track also brings the two vocalists together in a call-and-response section. Its lyrics address drug addiction and the strain it can place on the people around someone struggling with it.
“Ppl Worried” follows “February Theory”, which was released in September as the first single from the forthcoming record. The 14-track album was recorded at Foto Club in the band’s hometown of Philadelphia with longtime collaborator Evan Bernard, and will serve as the follow-up to 2022’s “Diaspora Problems”.
The album also features contributions from Eugene Robinson of Oxbow, Tati Salazar of Commitment, Colins “Bear” Regisford of Mannequin Pussy, and rappers MIKE and Bbymutha. Adebimpe’s appearance on “Ppl Worried” adds another guest collaboration to the record’s mix of hardcore, punk and hip-hop influences.
