Smith/Kotzen announce new album “Better Days… And Nights”

Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen’s project Smith/Kotzen announce the release of “Better Days …And Nights”, out on September 16 via BMG. It features five previously unreleased live tracks, plus the four studio tracks featured on their sold-out, limited-edition 12-inch vinyl EP, “Better Days”.

The live songs were recorded during their tour of the U.S. and U.K. in early 2022. They counted on stellar back-up from Richie’s wife, internationally acclaimed bass player Julia Lage, as well as drummer Bruno Valverde of Angra.

The EP tracks were produced by Kotzen and Smith and mixed by Kevin Shirley, while the live tracks were produced and mixed by Kotzen and Smith.
