Slayer announces their first Canadian show since reuniting

After their much-anticipated reunion last year, thrash metal pioneers Slayer are finally bringing their legendary live show back to Canadian soil. The California-based metal veterans have just revealed plans to perform at the renowned Festival d’été de Québec this summer.

Fans can catch Slayer‘s aggressive sound and theatrical performance on July 11th at the Quebec City festival, marking their first appearance in Canada since the band returned from hiatus.

The July 11th festival date features an eclectic lineup spanning multiple genres. While Slayer headlines for metal enthusiasts, electronic music fans can enjoy sets from DJ Bob Sinclair and Cheat Codes. Progressive metal outfit Mastodon joins the bill alongside newer acts like Sickick, Mzerg, and Sandveiss. The day’s diverse roster also includes performances from Veggi, Bibi Club, Original Gros Bonnett, Linka, Moja, Bradeazy, thaïs, Suray, Sertin, and Social Club. The line-up looks as follows:
