Reigning Phoenix Music has released an extended deluxe edition of Slayer guitarist Kerry King‘s debut solo album, “From Hell I Rise,” which includes five never-before-heard recordings, new cover art by James Bousema, and an updated layout with more images, as per Blabbermouth. The five recordings, which can be streamed below, provide a unique glimpse into King‘s creative process and feature Kerry’s scratch vocal performances. He has been doing this for a long time, but up until now, it has never been heard outside of the studio. The earbook, a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts, comes with the expanded deluxe edition. Two LPs, a live CD, and a live Blu-ray of the band’s debut performance at Reggies in Chicago are included in the earbook, which is limited to 666 copies worldwide.
