Sid Wilson maintains Slipknot status publicly following recent media speculation

The rumoured termination of turntablist Sid Wilson from Slipknot has not yet been officially clarified, although rumours about it are still circulating, as per theprp. Wilson was “permanently” expelled from the band on July 31st, according to TMZ’s initial report. Jim Root, the guitarist for Slipknot, cautioned fans not to accept everything they read and advised them to wait for further information in this cryptic post that followed the news. Wilson and Slipknot have not yet released an official statement regarding Wilson’s status, but TMZ reiterated their story a few days later, asserting that Wilson’s behaviour of his bandmates was the reason for his termination. On August 3rd, Wilson’s ex-fiance Kelly Osbourne uploaded a number of posts on the internet that appeared to be criticising him.

Wilson at least acknowledged himself as a member of Slipknot during his public appearance this week as a co-host of The World Scratch Invitational, even tho the situation is still unclear. He did precisely that in that competition, as you can see in the video below, when he gave the following introduction.
