Sid Wilson has revealed a new merch store

After allegedly being kicked out of the band, Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson has finally spoken out on social media, as per theprp. However, Wilson’s post (see below) is just a video promoting his updated independent retail store, sidthe3rdshop.com, so anyone seeking for clarification will simply have more questions. Wilson has been the subject of much discussion in the metal community this weekend. According to a report published by TMZ on July 31, Wilson was “permanently” sacked from the band. The position he had held since the late 1990s would cease if that firing is accurate. Wilson and Slipknot haven’t addressed the issue directly since. Wilson learned about the firing a few days ago, according to TMZ’s source.

Following TMZ’s allegation, Stacy Thomson, the wife of Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson, also took to social media, referencing a line about gossipy rumours from the 1980s adolescent film ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’.

My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with a girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.

Questions about my reference?

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, kids!

(And yes Ferris buellers day off is a great movie)

Wilson’s private life has also been affected by rumours. Some have drawn attention to a comment that Kelly Osbourne, his fiancée, put on her Instagram account over the weekend after they broke up earlier this year. It was a repost from another user, not Osbourne’s original statement. This phrase has previously appeared in support groups for “victims of narcissistic abuse” and other organisations on social media. Although fans have started debating it, Osbourne did not explicitly explain why he posted it at the time.

I guess the time for truth will come…
