Author Lucia Bellapianta - 22.8.2024

Exciting news have reached us from System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian’s new band Seven Hours After Violet! The newly formed band – more precisely formed two months ago – comes out releasing their second ever single titled “Radiance“. The band already released their first song “Paradise” two months ago. Listen to both songs below!

The new band Seven Hours After Violet was put together by System Of A Down‘s bassist Shavo Odadjian, vocalist Taylor Barber (Let To Suffer), guitarist and producer Michael “Morgothbeatz” Montoya (Winds Of Plague, …), “American Idol” runner-up and guitarist/vocalist Alejandro Aranda (aka Scarypoolparty) and drummer Josh Johnson (Winds Of Plague, …).

Seven Hours After Violet also announced a self-titled debut album due very soon – 11th of October, via Odadjian’s 1336 Records.

“This album is the culmination of years of creative exploration. With Seven Hours After Violet. I wanted to return to my roots in heavy music but also bring something entirely new to the table. “Radiance” and its precursor, “Paradise” are but a small glimpse of the intensity, musical diversity and emotion that run through this album. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it in full and to bring these songs to life on stage at our first live performance at Mayhem Fest [October 12th at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA, U.S.].” Shavo Odadjian
