Glasgow-based indie rockers Shambolics have announced an upcoming UK tour for October 2024. The 13-date trek kicks off in Huddersfield (England) on October 3 and concludes on October 21 in Cardiff. Tickets will be on sale this Friday 7 10 am via Fatsoma.
Released via Scruff Of The Neck, the group’s debut album, “Dreams, Schemes & Young Teams” hit number 3 in the Scottish charts.
Playing riotous rock ‘n’ roll with an instantly addictive pop edge, Shambolics capture the frustrations and aspirations that young working-class adults are experiencing across the UK. Rich with local dialect and slang, their songs paint evocative pictures of small-town life. Expect sleek hooks, biting satire and instant indie anthems.
The Scottish outfit has received celebrity backing from the man who discovered Oasis, Alan McGee, as well as fellow Fifer Ian Rankin, Still Game star Ford Keirnan, and Trainspotting actor Robert Carlyle. Libertines singer Pete Docherty also recorded a video message urging fans to buy Shambolics‘ debut album.
