Sepultura’s show in Los Angeles featured a very special guest

Author Benedetta Baldin - 1.6.2026

Vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters participated in Sepultura‘s North American farewell tour this past weekend, as per theprp. During a performance of the “Chaos A.D.” song “Kaiowas,” the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer took up the drum line sticks. On May 29, that performance was held at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Grohl is undoubtedly a skilled drummer; over the years, he has played percussion for a number of well-known musicians and sat behind the kit for grunge titans Nirvana. The aforementioned couple has been captured on camera by fans.

Grohl has long been a fan of Sepultura, having praised them on multiple occasions in the past. The final date of Sepultura’s farewell global tour was revealed last week. The legendary Brazilian metal band began their worldwide farewell tour in 2024, and on November 7th of this year, they will conclude their trip at São Paulo, Brazil’s Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu.
