Sean Blosl of Sanctuary has passed away
Sean Blosl, the founding guitarist for Sanctuary, passed away at the age of 58. A “vehicle related accident in Seattle” claimed Blosl’s life earlier this year, according to Lenny Rutledge, a guitarist who co-founded Sanctuary and was Blosl’s cousin. According to an obituary in The Chronicle, Blosl passed away on August 26, 2024. Between 1985 and 1990, Blosl performed with Jim Sheppard and Warrel Dane, who would later become Nevermore.
